Momentum / The Earrings N°3
The exploration of volume has been a central theme in my collection and these earrings are the piece where my research shows the most. Working with many wooden models at the early stages allowed me to discover intricate 3D forms. Inspired by the installations done at Villa Foscari la Malcontenta by Zaha Haid, this earring twists around the ear and becomes a small wearable sculpture.
The body and its movement are central to its appeal: as the head turns the perspective on the design changes showing different and interesting angles.
