Momentum / The Ring N°1
With the objective in mind to create wearable sculptures I have designed this ring inspired by the Emporia Shopping Centre in Malmo, Sweden. I was stunned by the way in which the light reflects on the building due its concave shape and fascinated by the height of the shopping centre that seems to defeat gravity. My ring bonds with the body and it becomes an extension of it.
I have carefully planned its height and the thickness of the rods to enhance the reflection of light and deliver the same effect that Gert Wingårdh achieved in his building.
Product Description
Yellow gold plated white precious metal with round cubic zirconia set at the ends of the rods. Weight 16,5 g.
Can be custom made in terms of size and materials, made to order.
